About BFM Wardrobe
Built by Hand. Backed by Twenty Years.
BFM Wardrobe was founded by Ben — a craftsman who learned the trade from the ground up and has spent two decades building furniture that lasts.

The Story
From Workshop to Your Home
BFM Wardrobe started the way most good things do — with a single job done properly. Ben began his career as a joiner, working on-site across London, learning how fitted furniture should be built: from precise measurements, with quality materials, and with enough care that the client never needs to call you back.
Over twenty years, that approach became a reputation. Word spread through Barnet, Finchley, Hampstead, and across North London. Clients who'd had a wardrobe built came back for a kitchen. Clients who'd had a kitchen built recommended Ben to their neighbours.
Today BFM Wardrobe designs and builds bespoke wardrobes, dressing rooms, and kitchen cabinets for clients across London. Every project is still managed personally by Ben — from the first home visit to the final fitting.

How We Work
The Principles Behind Every Project
01
Measure Twice, Cut Once
Every project starts with a home visit. We take precise measurements, assess the space, and design around what's actually there — not what a catalogue assumes.
02
No Shortcuts on Materials
We use moisture-resistant MDF, solid wood veneers, and premium European board. Hardware is sourced from Blum, Hettich, and Häfele — brands that joiners trust, not brands that look good in a brochure.
03
Design Before We Build
Every client sees a full 3D render of their project before a single panel is cut. We refine the design until it's exactly right — then we build it.
04
We Fit It Ourselves
There are no subcontractors on a BFM job. Ben and his team design, build, and fit every project. That's how we maintain the standard — and why we can back it with a 7-year guarantee.
Materials & Hardware
Quality You Can Feel
The difference between furniture that lasts twenty years and furniture that doesn't comes down to what's inside it. We use moisture-resistant carcass board, solid wood lipping, and soft-close mechanisms from Blum — the same hardware specified by high-end kitchen studios. Finishes range from painted MDF and lacquered gloss to real wood veneers and textured laminates. Every component is chosen to perform, not just to look good on the day.
Our Promise
The 7-Year Guarantee
Every installation we complete is backed by a 7-year guarantee on materials and workmanship. If anything isn't right — a door that drops, a drawer that sticks, a hinge that fails — we'll come back and fix it. No call-out charge, no questions asked. We stand behind our work because we built it to last.
